Councilor Jay Roberson To Speak at Birmingham Retired Educators Association Luncheon

BIRMINGHAM, AL- The Birmingham Retired Educators Association will celebrate American Education Week by hosting a luncheon today that will feature Council President Pro-Tem Jay Roberson as the keynote speaker. President Pro-Tem Roberson will speak on the role of good teachers in the classroom, as well as his efforts to assist students in Birmingham.

“Growing up in a household with a teacher, I was able to get an even more in-depth look on the impact that our educators have on society,” President Pro-Tem Roberson said. “I am a firm believer in supporting our educators so that they have everything they need to educate and nurture our future leaders.”
