A new pedestrian & vehicle bridge in District four will allow residents to bypass train delays and improve public safety
Trains have trapped the Collegeville neighborhood for decades, but that’s all about to change. The Maxine Herring Parker Bridge, a new pedestrian and vehicle overpass, will allow people to bypass train delays and improve public safety. Before her death, Councilor Maxine Parker was credited with working hard to get this vital connection built. Funding for the $10 million project came from city, state and federal levels.
