Councilor Kim Rafferty Welcomes a Weekend of Fun with Carnival and Health Fair for District 2 Residents

BIRMINGHAM, AL- Health checkups, food and fun is one way to kick off a great weekend. Today, Councilor Kim Rafferty will help do just that as she joins healthcare specialists, for a day full of activities for the entire family at the Carnival and Health Fair at Eastview Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center, located at 7755 4th Ave. South.

Blood pressure screenings, glucose checks and weight monitoring are part of the screenings that will take place in the Eastlake community. Not to mention bake sales, face painting and FREE back to school supply give-a-ways will be among the top activities and prizes geared for the entire family.

“It’s important to have events that combine wellness and fun such as the Carnival and Health Fair,” Councilor Rafferty said. “Parents and children are happy and both can receive the benefits of healthcare and wholesome family fun.”
