BIRMINGHAM, AL. – Councilor Marcus Lundy, Jr. is strong in his pursuit to connect citizens seeking employment and advancement opportunities especially those who often get turned away due to a lack of credentials and skill sets needed to get in the door. If you are ready to hone in on your trade skills and work for a company with a commitment to excellence, Councilor Lundy is inviting you to join him at the Wright Way Inc. ribbon cutting ceremony taking place TODAY at 11:00 a.m. at 816 2nd Street Birmingham, Alabama 35214. A dedication ceremony will follow at 11:45 a.m. where citizens will learn how they can start training in the multi-faceted field of construction.
“As a community of leaders, we have to help steer eager and talented citizens in the direction of their goals,” Councilor Lundy said. “It’s one thing to teach a man to fish and feed him forever, it is added value to show him the direction where the fish are biting. We have to realize that we invest in our future when we help educate others to realize theirs.”
Representatives from Wright Way, Inc. will speak on the importance of having a strong Alabama workforce for the present and future industrial companies in Alabama and focus on the untapped populations of people who need soft skill training as well as skilled trade training.
“We are looking forward to taking part in a community event that will ultimately aide in training future leaders in the construction industry,” said Nathaniel Carter, Senior Vice-President of Wright Way, Inc. “It’s important that the business community continue to work together with elected officials to provide these opportunities for residents.”
The Wright Way Company, Inc. is a minority-owned business established in 2014, for the purpose of placing skilled laborers in the construction and maintenance and manufacturing industries, with an emphasis on skilled welders. The Wright Way Staffing Company is committed to providing NCCER trained, certified and drug-free workers to oil and gas companies, plants and manufacturers, and others in the industrial sector, who have a history of integrity and excellence in their field.
