The U.S Environmental Protection Agency Awards Birmingham with Huge Grants
The push to redevelopment communities in Birmingham City continues to grow as Birmingham City Councilors look for additional resources that will aid in a greater Birmingham. The U.S Environmental Protection Agency recently awarded two grants within one week of each other to the City of Birmingham. Both grants totaled $600,000. Councilor William Parker says the grants will help empower communities and spark the conversation for smart and safe redevelopment.
