Black, White, and Blue: Birmingham City Council to Host an Open Dialogue on Public Safety Issues
It’s a growing problem that plagues our communities’ day in and day out and the statistics are not improving. As tension between communities and the police continues to grow, the Birmingham City Council wants to hear from you on solutions as we collectively work together to ensure that We Won’t Be Next. Through your insight and discussion we will look at ways to cut down crime, improve relations between the community and the police, and look at long-term goals for public safety. We hope that you will join us to be a part of this conversation, Tuesday, July 19th at 6 p.m in Downtown Ensley between Avenue F & 19th Street. Your voice and your input matters, so we hope to see you there.
