Birmingham Citizens Strut for a Good Cause!
With the start of Breast Cancer Awareness month just a day away many citizens are taking steps to help bring awareness to breast cancer in the City of Birmingham. Birmingham City Councilor Sheila Tyson recently strutted for a good cause to support women of color impacted by breast cancer during the 5th anniversary of Brenda’s Brown Bosom Buddies “Sistah Strut” Race. Pledging $8,000 to the cause during Council Meeting, health and wellness among citizens in Birmingham remains priority for Birmingham City Councilors.
