Residents in Birmingham Pay Tribute to Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.
It was a day of remembering one of our nation’s most dedicated Civil Rights activists. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. stood for nonviolence in the many faces of racial adversity. For many of the youth of the City of Birmingham, it marked the fulfilling of commitment to work out their differences and abstain from any form of behavior that caused acts of violence.
