BIRMINGHAM, AL—The summer is almost over and school is just about to begin. To ensure students have all they need, Council Pro Tem Steven Hoyt will join Bush Hills Neighborhood leaders to host a Back to School Shoe Giveaway for children living in the Bush Hills Neighborhood and attending Bush Hills Academy and Jackson Olin High School on Saturday July 15th at 9am until ALL shoes are GONE! Parents are encouraged to bring their children to receive a FREE pair of shoes just in time for the school year ahead.

“It’s always an honor to give back and relieve some of the burdens that parents have to endure when preparing for their childrens’ education,” Council Pro Tem Hoyt said. “Investing in our students is a priority of this Council, and I’m proud to keep those efforts going with our community leaders.”
