Councilor Steven Hoyt and Mayor Randall Woodfin Host the 2018 District 8 Town Hall Meeting

BIRMINGHAM, AL – Councilor Steven Hoyt along with Mayor Randall Woodfin is cordially inviting the public to attend a town hall meeting for District 8 this evening March 26, 2018 at 6p.m. at the Birmingham Crossplex. During the discussion, Councilor Hoyt will provide updates on projects in District 8 including goals and objectives for 2018. In addition to sharing his visions for economic development in Birmingham, constituents will be apprised on the status of vacant properties and overgrown lots, and share their thoughts on solutions to move the district forward with Councilor Hoyt, Mayor Woodfin and Department Heads from the City of Birmingham.
“We are in the midst of experiencing a renaissance in Western Birmingham, and I’m excited to join Mayor Woodfin and my colleagues to share how we all can take part in building our communities” said Councilor Hoyt. “Town hall meetings allow us to really engage with the community and share our ideas, visions, and goals for the district.
