BIRMINGHAM, AL –It’s almost time! You don’t want to miss out on this year’s Party With A Purpose! There will be tons of giveaways, food, fun and prizes not to mention health fairs, on site job recruiting and power packed entertainment! There’s also a special surprise in store for all attendees! ALL of this and more takes place this Saturday October 6, 2018 from 11am to 3pm at Ensley Park and Rec center!

There’s also a special surprise in store for ALL attendees.

Not to mention, North American On-Site is hiring for immediate production & assembly jobs for Mercedes-Benz in Vance, AL and a representative will be on site at Party With a Purpose accepting hundreds of applications. Qualified candidates must have one year of fast food, department store or similar light industrial experience, and have lived in Alabama for one year. Pay rates are $15.00 per hour with multiple shifts available.

Councilor Steven Hoyt began Party With a Purpose in District 8 in 2007 as an initiative to curb violence in the community by offering health, recreational and entertainment resources and a family friendly atmosphere. ‘It was time that our community stopped coming together for countless candlelight vigils,” Councilor Hoyt said. “Party With A Purpose is an opportunity for us to give back to our community and provide a safe, fun and wholesome atmosphere for family and friends and we couldn’t be prouder.”
