Birmingham experienced a deadly weekend, with two separate shootings in District 4 that have taken the lives of a five-year-old boy and two teenagers.
Council President Parker has organized a vigil for the families of the teens this evening at 7 p.m. at the Brownsville Heights Community Center. This will be in addition to the unity walk that was organized for the 5-year-old boy who was killed on Saturday.
The unity walk will be held at Maclin Park (2701 F L Shuttlesworth Dr, Birmingham, AL 35207) at 6 p.m. and participants will walk together over the Maxine Herring Parker Bridge.
