Birmingham City Council President William Parker is partnering with the Birmingham Black Nurses Association, 1st Foundation, and Clergy Concerned for the Community for a District 4 food and mask giveaway.
“The COVID-19 pandemic has created a difficult situation for a lot of families,” Parker said. “One need that we keep hearing is that people don’t have enough access to fresh fruits and vegetables. This partnership will help to provide so many families with quality produce and face masks. It’s just one way we hope to help the citizens of District 4 during these unprecedented times.”
The event is happening this Friday, May 29th, starting at 10:00am at the Shields Conference Center at W.C. Patton Park.
