COUNCIL PRESIDENT PARKER ENCOURAGING RESIDENTS TO UTILIZE FREE COVID-19 TESTING IN NORTH BIRMINGHAM THIS WEDNESDAY

On Wednesday, July 29 from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. there will be a free COVID-19 testing site in North Birmingham at Joyful News Christian Center (3106 27th Street North) organized by the Alabama Regional Medical Services (ARMS).
As the number of COVID-19 cases in Alabama continue to trend upward, Birmingham City Council President William Parker is encouraging anyone who would like to get tested to utilize this opportunity.
This testing site will be for anyone with or without symptoms of COVID-19. In order to schedule an appointment, please call (205)-407-9696.
“The Birmingham City Council has been intentional about partnering with organizations to increase the amount of testing throughout all of our 99 neighborhoods,” President Parker said. “We are going to continue to seek additional federal funding to aid in these efforts through the end of the year.”
