311 helps Birmingham residents with non-emergency services like pothole repair, blocked storm drains, or broken traffic signals.
For the fastest service, have this information ready:
- Location of the problem
- Description of the problem
- How long has the problem existed
- Your contact information
Submit your service request online:
Birmingham 311’s online portal lets you submit and track the status of your requests anytime, from any Internet connected device.
If you prefer to speak with a Customer Service Representative, call “311” from within Birmingham city limits or dial 205-254-CITY (205-254-2489).
You can also submit a request by emailing 311@BirminghamAL.gov. Be sure to include the location, description, when the problem started, and your contact information in your email.
