The Workforce Development Committee Advises on Matters Regarding: Workforce development strategy and initiatives, City supported education initiatives
Committee Information
TASKS:
- Develops and maintains relations with various entities involved in education and workforce training including but not limited to Birmingham City Schools, Birmingham Promise, Ed Farm, Propel Center, regional colleges and universities, Alabama Department of Labor, Central Six Alabama, trade union locals, etc.
- Recommend for appointments to the Birmingham Public Library Board of Directors
