The Parks, Recreation, Cultural Arts and Tourism Committee makes recommendations for appointments to the Park and Recreation Board. Recommendations for appointment are then presented to the full council for approval. Requests for items on the Parks and Recreation Committee agenda should be sent to the Committee Chairperson Council President William Parker. Items brought before the Committee are either recommended for approval or denial. If the item receives a favorable vote, the recommendation is placed on the city council agenda for a final vote.
