More than 200 volunteers from Foresters™, Birmingham City Schools, United Way of Central Alabama, the City Council of Birmingham organizers from KaBOOM! (@kaboom) and residents of the Alabama community will join forces on October 4, to give area kids the childhood they deserve by building a new playground at Hemphill Elementary School. The design is based on children’s drawings created at a special design event in August.
