The purpose of the FORUM is to bring together influential persons to articulate authentic strategies for the success of the community. Long-simmering issues and emerging trends are dramatically altering the cultural landscape in education, public policy, economics, and criminal justice. The African-American community is at a critical moment when a fresh, strategic approach can accelerate the cause of justice and empowerment or undirected angst can dissolve the community into confusion and then —- nothing.
